A tropical stunner from Ethiopia like no other. Expect vivid layers of orange, mango, ripe berries and delicate florals, rounded out by a lush red wine finish.
Cultivated at 1800–1980 masl in Gesha Karmach, the Gori-Gesha variety undergoes a unique Anaerobic Slow Dry (ASD) process. Cherries are fermented in sealed tanks for 96 hours. Once moisture drops to around 30%, they are gently dried on raised beds under shade for 20–30 days, finishing at 11% moisture.
This is no ordinary Ethiopian coffee. While most coffees from Ethiopia are grown by smallholder farmers and processed at communal washing stations where traceability is often lost, this lot comes from a single privately owned estate, Karmachi Farm. Fully traceable and meticulously handled from tree to export, single estate coffees like this remain rare in Ethiopia, making this a truly special offering.
The result: a cup that’s intensely sweet, fruit-forward, and beautifully layered—an expressive showcase of terroir and process.
