Grown by Luis Anibal Calderon at Finca Villa Betulia, this is a clean tasting coffee with refreshing notes of tropical fruits, sugar cane, and a nice floral tea-like finish.

This coffee is harvested following a strict ripeness criteria, exposed to a dry fermentation of 15 hours with the pulp on, and 32 hours after pulped.

Later, it was gently washed and dried on raised beds to an ideal moisture content.

This microlot is 100% Papayo. This coffee variety is a rare mutation that took place in Acevedo, Huila. Coffee cherries are orange in color when ripe, with a shape similar to a papaya.
