La Florida Natural Typica Mejorado

Brought to you by Hacienda La Florida, the farm that cultivated 2021 World Brewer's Cup Champion, Matt Winton's, winning coffee.

Winton's win placed La Florida, and by extension, Ecuadorian coffee, into the international spotlight, and we are excited to serve you the coffee world's newest find.

Ecuadorian coffee is reported to have high levels of sweetness - we are happy to confirm that this coffee is no exception. On top of that, we were dazzled by the layers of flavour this particular coffee had - from fresh, zesty oranges to sweet, dried raisins.

Fun fact: Genetic testing by World Coffee Research revealed that Typica Mejorado, despite what its name suggests, is actually a Bourbon variety cross-pollinated with an Ethiopian Landrace variety.
